Our Internship Programs

OCCI’s internship program is designed to give students a realistic introduction to many aspects of a professional engineers’ job responsibilities in the construction field. Interns work on-site at one of OCCI’s current projects around the country for several weeks out of the summer.

Worksites include Major Railroad Bridges; Lock and Dam work and large-scale DOT projects.  Ingenuity and the latest engineering technology are the standards of our work environment. Interns at OCCI are expected to perform as potential employees and contributing members of the on-site management staff, not temporary “gophers”.

At OCCI, we don’t give our interns T-shirts, we give them work experience.

Our team members all share the common thread of a strong drive for success, coupled with an infinite desire to learn and develop.

OCCI employs Project Managers, Engineers, Construction Superintendents, Quality Control staff, Safety personnel, and a strong field labor crew to execute our construction and steel fabrication projects.  The staff of the Accounting, Drafting, Equipment Management, Human Resources, IT and Project Administration departments play a key support role in the daily business operations.
