Temporary Falsework Design and Install; Bridge Slide; Span Assembly
Replacement of four spans on the Mohawk River Bridge in Rotterdam Junction, New York. Using a custom designed and fabricated hydraulic sliding system, OCCI removed the old spans and replaced the new spans in two each 20-hour closures. The new 150-foot spans were erected on false work supports immediately adjacent to the existing, functioning track to allow for minimal railroad interruptions.
