Bridge Washout Emergency Construction of Mainline Bridge
Railroad Bridge Construction & Emergency Response
Emergency Response; Pile Driving; Precast Erection; Steel Erection

When disaster struck the Sioux City Subdivision, OCCI and the Railroad teamed up to design and build a new bridge under emergency conditions. The existing bridge collapsed due to a pier failure, leaving two center spans submerged. We drove steel pipe piles and placed precast caps to support the new structure. Utilizing 3 spans from the railroad's stock, along with two custom-designed end spans, a new bridge was built and functioning in 8 days.
